1. Introduction

At Cannahub.co.uk, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including when you create an account, use our services, or contact us for support.

3. CannaHub Strain Tracker App

The CannaHub Strain Tracker is a mobile application (available on iOS and Android) designed to help UK medical cannabis patients track their cannabis usage and make informed decisions about their care. You can learn more and access the web version at CannaHub Strain Tracker. This section describes how we handle data specifically within the app.

3.1 Account Information

When you create an account in the Strain Tracker app, we collect your email address and password. Authentication is handled securely via Firebase. We do not share your login credentials with third parties.

3.2 Strain and Session Data

The app allows you to record strains you have tried and log usage sessions. This may include: strain names, product types, THC/CBD levels, terpenes, effects, flavours, ratings, comments, and dates of use. This data is stored locally on your device. When you are signed in, it is also synced to our servers so you can access it across devices and if you reinstall the app.

3.3 Local Storage

When you use the app without an account, your strain and session data is stored only on your device. When you sign up or sign in, existing local data can be synced to your account.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, and communicate with you. In the Strain Tracker app, we use your strain and session data solely to provide the tracking and sync features within the app.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our website and hold certain information. For more details, please see our Cookie Policy.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. You can do this through your account settings or by contacting us.
